  • Biography: 
  • Lieutenant Colonel Kellie Brownlee is the Materiel Leader, Future Ground Systems of the Remote Sensing Experiment Ground Division, Remote Sensing Systems Directorate, Los Angeles AFB, California.
  • Prior to assuming this role, she was the Chief, Program Execution Division of the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Integrated System Program Office, National Reconnaissance Office, Chantilly, VA.  Lieutenant Colonel Brownlee led 150-member multi-agency System Program Office acquisition team which provided Overhead Persistent Infrared capabilities and was developing the next generation ground capabilities.

    Lieutenant Colonel Brownlee received her commission in 2002 from West Virginia University ROTC program.  Her assignments span satellite operations, multiple acquisition programs, the National Reconnaissance Office, and Space and Missile Systems Center.

  • Biography: 
  • George is responsible for the technical integrity of the Giant Magellan Telescope (GMTO), including overseeing the flow down of the scientific requirements into technical requirements to ensure the science goals can be achieved by the telescope. 
  • Prior to his work on the GMTO, George was the Systems Engineering Manager on the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) in Arizona
