Abstract

The Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SEBoK) is the evolving result of the Body of Knowledge and Curriculum to Advance Systems Engineering (BKCASE) project, along with its counterpart Graduate Reference Curriculum for Systems Engineering (GRCSE). It began as a 3-year project involving over 70 authors led by the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC), and continues to evolve as a wiki-based web site (sebokwiki.org) jointly sponsored by INCOSE, IEEE, and the SERC. It includes parts on a SEBoK Introduction; Systems, SE and Management; Applications of Systems Engineering; Enabling Systems Engineering; Related Disciplines; and SE Implementation Examples; along with a glossary of terms and mechanisms for people to comment and suggest improvements to its content. These are reviewed by a continuing editorial board, and lead to periodic new releases of the SEBoK. The presentation will include summaries of the SEBoK content and usage, and examples of navigating around the SEBOK.
