Abstract

“Curiosity” is the Latest & Largest Mars Rover (a “Mini-Cooper” on Six Wheels!) carrying Advanced Science Experiments & has been exploring a Young Martian Crater! The talk will cover the amazing Curiosity engineering & science results & data to-date.

This is also an LA/OC-Area-Wide Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Outreach, so Jr High, High School & College Kids Most Welcome!!!

Directions

From the 405 S, take the Rosecrans exit, turn right at the bottom of the offramp (Hindy), left (west) on Rosecrans, the left (south) on Aviation Blvd, left (east) on Marine, then turn right at the tallest building.

From the 405 N, take the Inglewood exit and turn right at the bottom of the offramp (heading north), turn left (west) on Marine. Then turn left (south) at the signal just beyond the tallest building.

West of the 405 Fwy, east of Aviaton Blvd, on the south side of Marine Ave, turn in at the signal just west of the tallest building and go past the building. At the turnabout, turn right and continue south. The S Cafe is ahead with stairs to descend into the facility.
