Chicagoland Chapter Receives Platinum Circle Award for 2017 Efforts

The INCOSE Chicagoland Chapter Board of Directors is proud to announce that we have fulfilled the requirements for receipt of a Platinum Circle Award for our 2017 activities and officially received the reward at the International Symposium (IS 2018), which took place in July.
The chapter awards program, in place since 2000, recognizes the importance of chapters to a thriving professional organization like INCOSE.  It incentivizes behaviors that align with INCOSE’s goals of education, outreach, and citizenship in the systems engineering community.  In order to receive a Gold Circle Award, the chapter must provide evidence for having accumulated the minimum number of points in each of nine categories, including planning, communications, and INCOSE support, as well as a minimum number of total points.
Achievement of this milestone represents the culmination of year-long efforts by the 2017 Board of Directors as well as our members.  Members who participate in chapter activities, renew their memberships, and contribute to the systems engineering community help our chapter to grow strong.  We hope that you will continue to support us as we aim for another Platinum Circle Award for our 2018 activities!
