Presentation Abstract:
The information associated with digital threads and value streams span many different systems over time.  Understanding the associated information lifecycles is important for supporting high quality information across these systems.  This presentation will describe a formal method for documenting digital threads and value streams using information lifecycles.  These documents allow stakeholders and systems implementers to easily understand each other and what is required of affected processes and systems.

Ian Phillips is the Data Domain Architect for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX.  Ian is also a LM Fellow and INCOSE ESEP.  Ian first developed the Information Lifecycle Diagram in 1998, and he continues to refine the ILD concept.
