TGCC Chapter Meeting November 2015

Model-Aided Systems Engineering of Complex Architectures:  EFT-1

A rigorous, repeatable methodology was implemented that enabled effective systems engineering of EFT-1’s Integrated Network, including requirements development, requirements traceability, interface definition, detailed design analysis and system verification and validation.  The capability provided a robust technique for integrating and engineering complex System of Systems (SoS) architectures.  Due to the benefits of the approach, it is now being applied on NASA Engineering & Safety Center (NESC) assessments and for engineering of the cis-lunar Proving Ground spacecraft backbone.
