Associate Systems Engineering Professionals (ASEPs) are required to pass the knowledge exam and to renew their certification every five years. They are not required to document their education or experience, and they are not required to submit references. The ASEP forms are found here. 

INCOSE ASEP forms for applicants from DAU certification streamlined path: Those with Level II DOD ENG Certification should submit Form 1A. They can bypass the knowledge exam. They should also email the INCOSE Certification office at certification@incose.org their DOD ENG certification details

Those with Level III DOD ENG Certification may bypass the INCOSE knowledge exam. The remaining technical documentation and references requirements for experience will be addressed in Form 1B provided here. They only have to write a brief narrative description of their work experience plus describe three types of SE they have performed, then get that signed by their current supervisor, with no additional references required. They will submit this application and INCOSE will reach out to DAU to confirm their DAU certification.
